Easy ski rental

I rented skis for my trip. The process was quick online. Picked up the equipment without issues. Everything was ready. Good service overall.

Decent gear, slow pick-up

I rented a pack ski débutant for my son. The website was easy enough to navigate and the prices were competitive, especially with the family offer applied. The equipment itself was fine, good condition for a rental. However, picking up the gear at the partner shop took longer than I expected. There was a bit of a queue and only one person working. It wasn't a huge problem, but it did eat into our first morning. Delivery was not an issue as it was a shop pickup. Overall, it was a fair experience, but shop efficiency could improve.

Great price for first-timer

This was my first time renting skis online, so I was looking for the best deal. I got a 'pack ski débutant' with boots and poles. The site had a clear discount applied for booking early. It felt like I saved a good chunk of change compared to what I saw other places charging. Pickup at the resort was easy and the gear worked perfectly for me. Definitely felt worth it for a beginner on a budget.

Good value, minor snag

I rented a pack ski intermédiaire for my trip. The price was competitive, especially with the early booking discount. Picking up the gear at the shop was smooth, they had my reservation ready. My only small issue was the boots felt a bit worn, not terrible but definitely not new. Overall, it worked out fine for the week, delivery was just picking up, so that was easy. I'd use them again for the convenience and price.

Good value, minor snag

I booked a 'pack ski intermédiaire' for my trip last month. The price was really competitive, especially with the early booking discount. Picking up the gear at the partner shop was straightforward enough, no long lines. The skis were in good condition. My only gripe was that the boots they initially gave me were a bit too snug, and it took a little while to exchange them, maybe 15 minutes. Overall, it was a solid experience for the price.

Reliable ski rentals

This was my third time using Snow Rental, and they're consistently good. I rented skis de piste this time, just like last year. The process online was familiar and easy to navigate. Equipment quality is always decent, nothing spectacular but perfectly functional for a week on the slopes. Pickup at the partner shop is always straightforward. They're my go-to for rental gear because I know what to expect and they deliver.

Good deal on ski boots

This was my first time renting from Snow Rental. I was looking for ski boots and found a pretty good price compared to other sites. They had an early booking discount which saved me a bit, making it feel like a solid value. The boots were good quality and fit well. It felt worth the money I spent, definitely helped my budget for the trip.

How's the turnaround if I need to change something with my booking? My dates might shift a little.

H Hannah Wright 4 weeks ago
I had to change my boot size once, just called the number and they sorted it out. Pretty straightforward.

S Sandra Moore 4 weeks ago
They let you modify bookings, usually. Just do it in advance, don't wait till the last minute.

Hey, thinking of renting skis for my trip to Breckenridge in March. How far in advance do I really need to book to get a good deal?

L Lisa Torres 3 weeks ago
Definitely book early! I usually get like 30-40% off if I book at least a month or two out. Especially for peak season like March.

B Brittany Diaz 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I booked in December for a January trip and got a pretty sweet discount. The earlier the better, for sure.

Just wondering if Snowrental is legit? Never used them before, usually go with Skiset.

A Amanda Scott 1 month ago
They're totally legit. Been around for ages, like since 2004 or something. I've used them multiple times in France and Austria, always smooth.

A Andrew 1 month ago
Yep, used them last year in Val d'Isere. No issues, equipment was good. Similar to Skiset but sometimes a better price depending on the resort.

Wondering about payment options. Can I use PayPal or is it just credit card stuff?

L Lisa Ramirez 1 month ago
I paid with my Visa last time. Not sure about PayPal, but they usually have the common cards.

M Matt Mitchell 1 month ago
Pretty sure I saw various card options, like Mastercard and Visa. PayPal might be there, check during checkout.

Hey, anyone know if Snowrental is legit? Found some good deals but seems almost too good compared to like, Intersport.

O Olivia 1 month ago
Yeah, totally legit. Used them last year for a trip to Val Thorens. No issues picking up the gear.

They've been around forever, since 2004 I think. Partner with tons of shops so it's usually all good.

My kid's helmet is getting old, are helmets included with the rental packages or is that extra?

D Danielle 1 month ago
Helmets are usually an add-on, not automatically in the basic ski/board packs. You can add it during booking though.

J Joseph B. 4 weeks ago
Nope, almost always separate. Better to add it when you reserve to make sure they have it in stock.

Is there a specific promo code box, or do some discounts just apply automatically, like for early booking?

J Jeff L. 1 month ago
The early bird discounts usually just show up in the price, no code needed. If you have a specific code, there's a box at checkout.

I Ian Lee 4 weeks ago
yeah, most stuff like family offers or early booking is automatic. codes are entered right before you pay.

Does anyone know if you can change your gear once you're at the resort? My boots sometimes feel different after a day on the slopes.

B Brandon Allen 1 month ago
Yeah, you usually can. I've done it before. Just pop back into the partner shop and explain what's up. They're usually pretty flexible.
6
B Brittany Wright 1 month ago
Pretty sure they let you swap. I mean, it's in their policies, I think I read that somewhere, for sizing or comfort issues.
